TNT_Tony Call 10-Mar-2014 Notes

Pam:  How is your mother doing, Ray?
Ray:  Pretty well.
Tony:  Good morning, TNT!  Today is Monday March the 10th, 2014.  Here we are again, another great Monday morning… I thought we would never be here on this day, but here we are!  We are going to do things a little bit differently.  I have DC for the first hour, and we may only need an hour if he does his job right.
Everything is in position and the announcement could come at any  moment, any hour, any day.  There are still some final things being changed that were already agreed upon, and those things had to be done because of what’s going on in the world today.  I wanted to give the big picture last week, but… if it’s about the economy or the globe, we don't want to get involved in that, and some of the things we do and say could do that.  But DC will declassify that for us.
Other than that, there are things happening in the RV world and banking system;  people are in place, in the call centers and the exchange centers from this afternoon. We were reminded this weekend that it’s critical to say at the bank that you are there to EXCHANGE, not to cash out. If you don’t say ‘exchange’, you will come out on the losing end.  If you don’t exchange, you will not get the same rate as the rest of us.
The 800 numbers have been released to the bank, and I’ll give more on that.  But first you want to understand why you haven’t seen the RV at this moment.  One reason is political – nationally, and one is political internationally.  DC?
DC:  Those who don’t care about the big picture, now is a good time to take a break for ten minutes.  We are going to go a bit deeper than some people like to go.  Some people don’t care about this stuff, and that is fine.  The IMF is taking this very seriously, and walking step by step to make sure it all goes properly.  There are things going on in the world that make it more complex;  it’s not as if everything is calm and easy.
In terms of big pictures, the Kiev-Ukraine stuff is in the middle of it all.  In essence, Russia freed or invaded the Crimea, which is the access to ports, with lots of natural gas, where they have fought wars over for several centuries.  The US response was sanctions;  the Russian response was that the Russians in the Crimea have asked for their support. The rest of the world is saying “You can’t do that”.  People are concerned that this will get us into another cold war.  They think that it has destabilized the world and it’s now very healthy right now, plus the Russian and Ukraine currencies are dropping like rocks.  So they think we should not RV because of that.
However, others say that we will never be in a conflict-free world, and that in fact the RV will help Russia.  No, Russia doesn’t have many dinar because they already have a lot of oil and gas. China needs the oil credits and they want the dinar to get more oil.  China is using a lot more oil per day than they produce themselves.  There are many different issues about this in China because they are emerging into an industrial age that requires a lot of crude oil rather than byproducts.  Russia is an oil exporter, and about half of the natural gas used in Europe comes from Russia through the Ukraine/Crimea. So Europe can’t play too hard with Russia because their fuel could be cut off. They are having a relatively mild winter but they cannot afford to lose that oil and gas from Russia. The RV would open up exploration and reduce dependence on Russian gas.  Also the RV would improve the US position regarding oil and gas.  If we could export 5% of what they need, that would change the balance in Europe as well.
Basically, Russian government is highly dependent on oil to run its government, and even a few dollars up or down makes a huge difference on its exports.  Saudi is built on oil and gas revenues, and so is Russia, and if you starting altering that, there will be a lot of issues.  So instead of sanctions, many are suggesting we move on the RV because that will allow more money in the Euro market, and they will get more secure oil/gas imports.  That is more powerful than sanctions with respect to Russia. Putin is pretty smart and he is strategically thinking this through.  No one is going to go to war over the Crimea, so this is an effective tool in the Ukrainian crisis.
On the back side, our government is saying to speed up our oil processing to get Europe less dependent on Russian gas. Even the thought of that threatens the revenue stream for the Russian government.
Tony: One side is saying “let’s do the RV right now and we’ll take a bigger bite” and another side, “Let’s just wait because we don’t know what will happen”.  Meanwhile, we had meetings in all of Europe yesterday, waiting for documents to be signed.  The IMF knows they have decisions to make and CL gets it wrong, they will land on her like a ton of bricks.  Some are saying that we need to get this done before more things happen in the Ukraine, so get on with it!
That is the big picture, and what has been going on since Friday in meetings, not about the UST holding it back.  Now let’s look at the RV itself.  The banks have had the 800 numbers for over a week.  The UST has released the rates and they are locked in.  The four rates are international, market, and the two contract rates – where are we at with those?
DC:  Our understanding is that because the IMF is in charge…
Tony:  Let’s hold on off with that.  We don’t want to negatively impact the revaluation.  Everything is okay, but if we put it out there it might just cause more confusion. The 800 numbers are there, exchange people coming in this afternoon, it could happen at any moment. They are prepping some groups, and I think there are just two major groups that will be exchanged.  Most groups are going away.
DC:  Some of those groups have been looked into, and the authorities found that some things were not on the up and up, so some are being taken apart, some people are being arrested, and in some there are a few bad apples that need to be removed.
Tony: They have been doing that over the last week, removing those groups and certain people from those groups.  How will those people get their dinar back?
DC:  I have no idea.
Tony:  Some groups will go through.  I’ve had the contracts from the Admiral’s group for years. That is a legitimate group with contracts detailing their rate and how much they will take out, etc. It’s all written down. They are being prepped, not yet processed.
What happened to take the IMF from a position of helping us to now holding us back?  The big picture should have answered that.
After release from this present hold, is it possible to exchange the dinar outside the USA?  Yes, it’s an international currency like the euro, and you should be able to buy and sell freely.
Please address the higher rates for the groups?  I’m not going to talk about Gen64 group.  Will everybody outside the groups be eligible for the higher rates?  My understanding is that when this process ends, you should still be eligible for the higher rates, whatever they turn out to be.
DC has said when exchange and begin spending, that will have a major impact on the GDP;  why has there been no impact from those who have already cashed out?  Some have been asked to slow their spending and not be flashy.  There is a lot of property moving in DC, and there is a reason for that.
If you had the opportunity to exchange through the Admiral’s group, would you?  DC:  It sounds legitimate, and I have friends in that group.  However, I also have nervousness with the chain of custody, and I wouldn’t do that.  Tony:  I know him personally and I would feel okay with that, but I’m not happy to hand over my money unless I get direct cash in exchange, so I chose not to join that group.  However, I’ve seen the contract, and he is a legitimate group.  If I wanted to be part of a group, though, that would be the one.
Q:  You have both said that you will spread your exchange to different banks;  how do we do this?  DC:  I will ask different banks what they will pay.  Most people will be happy just to take what they get offered at the first bank.  I will different banks and exchangers and see what the numbers are, just like shopping for anything.  I will first pay attention to Tony and Pam, see what rates they have been offered, and I will call the banks directly before using any 800 numbers.  Don’t make appointments with everybody;  that just creates a bottleneck. Call the banks first.
Tony:  What you can do right now is to help yourself and see what the exchange rates are, and what services they offer at the higher rates. You can say you are about to get a certain amount of money, and what can they offer you?  You can ask them that right now.  You can also find out the rate at the exchangers.  Also, make sure you read the contracts;  the highest I’ve heard is 20%.
DC:  I’ve heard 40% once, after taxes, of course.
Tony:  Even if I did the whole exchange in one bank, I would divide the results between three or four banks because each will offer something different.
Q: Tony mentioned that some have received 800 numbers but told not to release them… Yes, the 800 numbers are sitting at the banks.  Who are some of those people who have the numbers?
DC:  We understand they are friends/family who didn’t manage to exchange in December and January, plus folks at call centers who have their fingers on the pulse.
Tony:  I never expected you to say that!   I’ll just take the next question… 702?  I can’t see my cities.  They did improve the system… 512?
352 caller:  Are we considered a group?
Tony:  We are not a group, guys.  I have been offered a group number, but it would go against everything I’ve been saying for the last two years.  I didn’t want to be a part of it, or having people say I am here to make money of you all.  TNT is NOT going to be a group.  #Wearethepeople is everyone who has dinar;  that encompasses all of us, no matter what site.
Caller:  Even if a group just locked in our rates, I think many would trust you.  There’s a lot of fear that we may not get those $30 or $15 rates.
Tony:  I have done everything that I can to get those rates for you.  I have sacrificed more than you know to get these rates.  I’m okay at $3 because I know how to make money from that.  This has cost me so much;  I got a call yesterday saying they were talking about Tony in Germany.  You don’t know what I’ve been through to get you that rate!  Will everyone get it?  No, because it will go down.  But everyone will get a shot at those rates.  Right now, we are being told that is on the table for us because of what we did as #wearethepeople, and all the those in DC who got us the information and are willing to stand up to make sure you are treated right.  They are trying to make a change in how they are doing things, and they did give us an explanation, but we also reminded them that they made a commitment to us.  I hope they keep they word. They asked me to do certain things, and I hope they do what they said they would do as well. That is for you guys.  I can take care of me;  this is for you.
Caller:  We all appreciate what you and the team have done for us.  Now, in your heart of hearts, when do you think this is going to happen?
Tony:  It should happen before Saturday, and it could happen this afternoon.
DC:  I am a little more optimistic than Tony.  I think it’s coming sooner than later.  Like Tony, I’m not going to give an actual time.
208 caller:  How are your mom and dad?
Tony:  My mom is being taken to rehab today, and my father was released on Friday so he could spend the weekend with her.
Caller:  Please remind everyone about donations – those are still needed, so please continue to donate to TNT, on www.tntdinar.com.
Who do you or DC think is the person who will make the world-wide announcement?
DC:  There are several options in term so f people doing it:  1.  Don’t make an announcement, just do the adjustments;  2.  Have CL make the announcement on the financial networks;  3.  Have Maliki make the announcement;  4.  Have each national central bank make an announcement for their country.  They change their minds on this almost every day.
Tony:  The reason I didn’t want to put it out there is that it has change almost daily, like the changes in how they are using the 800 numbers.
Caller:  Will this be done prior to the Iraqi elections so that Maliki can take credit?
DC:  Yes.
Caller:  Is there anything left in Congress to move the RV forward?
DC:  No, they’re done/
Tony:  What about the vote for the IMF?
DC:  We have explained that vote several times;  it is NOT holding up the RV.  A lot of emerging countries would like for the US to do that vote, but it is highly unrealistic and they all know that.
Caller:  Thank you, Tony, Pam, DC, Ray, all the mods and transcribers.  We love you!
301 caller:  DC, I have a contact who suggests there may be a law prohibiting any exchanges in the US;  have you heard that rumor?
DC:  No, sir.  There have been some threats about that, that the IMF could bypass the US, and if just decided to be complete jerks and not accept that rate, then we might have been forced to go overseas.
Caller:  Do you know of any multi-million dollar transactions taking place?
DC, Tony:  Yes, we know a billionaire dollar transaction took place on Saturday, so the banks are still busy.
585:  I don’t think the US will give up their position on the IMF vote, so I’ll pass…
662 caller:  I saw a post about the zim;  what’s the position there?
Tony:  What did the post say?
Caller:  There was an article about the zim being a great investment;  what do you think?  Sorry, I have four small children here.  The article said that China has their hands in the bucket with their diamonds and such…
Tony:  I invested in it and continue to invest in it.  From the time I started, it went from $2 to $20 per note.  Is it going to happen this week?  No.  Is it going to happen?
DC:  Yes, eventually. I don’t think their leader is not a good person, so I have not invested, but I think it is a good long0term investment.  There are a lot of hard assets, and when they get a better leader, the country will expand like gang-busters.
Tony:  The IMF has moved the evaluation date to June, to see if they are ready then.
DC:  The big issue is Mugabe, whether he is still being a jerk.  Seven other countries are using their currencies in Zimbabwe.
Caller:  It sounds like we can exchange dinar, and later stick our hands in the bucket again – yippee!
334 caller:  If we have multiple currencies and go to exchange into different accounts;  when can we merge those currencies?
Tony:  I don’t know. I heard to keep it separated because of the tax, so once you have paid those taxes, you can merge them as soon as you want.
505 caller:  Is the world economy to the place where the power-brokers are no longer able to continue making money without having some sacrifice?
Tony:  As long as there is money, they will continue making money;  they cannot lose.  Is the money available for use able to operate as it should around the world – the money we can see?  There is always money we can’t see, behind the screen. They own most of the CBI, so they will always make money.  The real question is whether they can continue to operate comfortably without this RV?  You’ve heard my timeframe and DC is more optimistic.  There are people hungry and homeless… but they can give billions to the Ukraine.
740 caller:  I have a loaded question about the Code of Reforms, about how currencies are valued, going from fiat to asset-backed, which includes gold.  I saw some numbers suggesting 50% asset-backed.
Tony:  Once Basil III kicks it, they should all be asset-backed.
DC:  You cannot turn that big a ship easily, so it will be decades turning this around.  Everything valued in dollars, euros, etc., will change, and you cannot quickly change course on the big currencies.  It’s not like everyone in the world will switch over to the FDR;  that is an option.  We have the most currency, and there may be disagreement on this for years.
Tony:  What do we call it with China?  Is that a disagreement or a war?
DC:  They could stop buying T-bills or apply all kinds of sanctions if it were a war;  this is just a disagreement.  A war would be more what’s happening with Iran.  If there were an economic war, it would be brutal, and nobody can afford that.
Tony: If the new currency is based on the Code of Reforms and the US has to approve that, how can we have an RV before the US passes the Code.
DC:  Some of those things are treaties that have to pass through Congress.  We agreed to all the RV stuff a long time ago.
Caller:  So the RV doesn’t hinge on the Code of Reforms?  It’s under the table, sort of.  So if the Ukraine package is more “do what we want you to do and we’ll give you this money”.
DC:  It’s a lot more nuanced than that.  With the Ukraine, we’re just trying to keep them stable enough not to go to war or civil war.  That’s mainly why we are giving them money.
Caller:  If the dinar and dong both revalue, then the citizens are going to be millionaires, right?
DC:  The average citizen doesn’t have a lot of their own currency.  Most people are worried about where to eat next.  There is horrendous poverty, but some will be wealthy.
Tony:  They are getting more VALUE for their dinars;  instead of one loaf of bread, they’ll be able to buy four loaves.
Caller:  Zim is currently defunct;  will they just revive it overnight?
Tony;  They haven’t printed any new currency and it was scheduled to revalue in January, now delayed to June.  We mentioned the rupiah and the rate shot up and they had to freeze the price. That would have stayed at the same rate if we hadn’t mentioned it on this call.  In short, if you have it, keep it.
Caller:  Do you think Neil Keenan’s efforts have to be successful before we can RV.
DC, Tony:  We have no idea who he is.
281 caller:  Where are we on the bonds and is that significant on this thing finalizing?  And DC, when are you going to stand up for Texas?
DC:  I don’t think that is a driving factor, though it may have an effect.
Tony:  They do have this week scheduled to do something with the bonds.  I am giving them the whole week!  Also, just so you know, DC is the one who reported all the buses at the banks in Texas.
772 caller:  In Vegas, someone wants to do but cannot get on the forum…
Tony:  We will have everyone re-register on the superfantastic sites.  I think they already asked me to do away with #wearethepeople, so I’ll have to change the twitter account.  I’ll send you one last tweet, and we’ll set up a celebration site.  What I’ve been asked to is to do away with all the sites, not talk about it, do books, tapes, or run for political office. However, I will go to Vegas for the celebration of millionaires.  I will have that for Atlanta, Texas, Michigan, Florida;  people have already signed up for those.  We have 8 or 9,000 signed up for Vegas and we’ll let you know when and where. It may be 30-40 days after this started;  we haven’t reserved anything or tried to.  Montana says maybe June or July.  I’m willing to put in the money to make that possible.
Caller;  I signed up for NC.  My family in Tampa has asked me to ask you this… If you get intel, where is it coming from?  You mention conference calls… what calls?
DC:  They are all over, and we get them from different routes and training.  We aren’t going to tell you details.
Caller:  I am going with DC’s optimism!
Tony:  I’m just trying to give a wide window, but I like his optimism, too!   954?  425?
425 caller:  I heard earlier you were talking about the IMF vote;  you said that the US is not going to give up their 17% vote as some are pressing for?
Tony:  We were talking about whether it has anything to do with the RV.  They gave them until mid-April to give up 2%.  The RV is not waiting for that, in any case.  [DC agrees.]
Caller:  Because China has bought so much gold, do you think they will become the world currency?
Tony:  It’s about ASSET-backed currency, not just their gold.  China wants to become the world currency, and they have a plan for that, and we have a plan for them not to do that.  Certain countries definitely want the US dollar do not want it to be the world currency.  That would make it easier for all the other countries and their currencies.  There is certainly a plan, but it’s like two football teams battling it out.  China has some definite concerns about the dollar, especially as a fiat currency.  However, as we move to an asset-backed currency, it’s going to be a harder argument to make.  It was the US’s idea to move to asset-backed currencies world-wide;  this is a plan over 50 years or more.  China will offer emerging countries that support them better over years, bit by bit, not from one day to the next.  It’s a strategy game.
Caller:  At exchange, do you recommend exchanging directly into another currency.  Will they let you do that at the bank?
DC:  It’s always a good idea to have a range of currencies.
Tony:  I don't’ know what the bank is going to do, but you can call the bank and ask.  Sterling says they will let you exchange directly into other foreign currencies, and they have that on their site.
Caller:  I’ll be making a donation as soon as this call is over.
954 caller:  I’ve been riding this for nine years… A question for DC:  do you really think the banks will give out the new rates over the phone?
DC:  I’m  not going to do a transaction without knowing the rates!  I’m going to shop it.
Caller:  How do you get a black card?  Amex won’t just give you a card!
DC:  Tony has one, doesn’t he?  It’s called a Centurion card, and it’s got all sorts of privileges like unlimited purchase power.  Someone used one to buy a G5 het last year.  It’s got a great concierge service, too.  You have to prove you have a tremendous income and you have to spend 250K per year on that card.  Typically, you have to prove you have those spending habits with Amex and then they will invite you.
Tony:  When you are doing your exchange, a bunch of you will be offered the black card, because if you have a couple million dinar, you will qualify for it.  If you google ‘black card’, you will get the information and see how to qualify.  The banks will absolutely offer them for the high-flyers.
Caller:  Do we still need to request Clean and Clear Certificates (CCCs)?
Tony:  I would still ask for 20 CCCs, so you can buy cars and houses and such easily.
Caller:  Are you still going through Okie to release the 800 numbers?
Tony:  We will all Okie and let him announce the RV;  we’ll post the 800 numbers on the sites and by twitter.  We don’t care who announces it!  Just get it done!
Caller:  I hope this is the last call!  [Tony and DC laugh and agree.]
404 caller:  Thank you and all the mods.  You mentioned that the RV should be announced 24-24 hours before the GCR is announced.  Is that still in play?
DC:  Bottom line is that ‘s ideal but we are past ideal and into just getting it done.  So… NO.  Notification has been thrown out of the window.
Caller:  Has there been an announcement in Iraq?
DC:  They briefed them Sunday morning and last Friday morning in the mosques.  Maliki has been on the television quite a bit saying he is a great person and should be elected.  That’s all.
Caller:  They say there is not enough cash on the streets in Iraq… the numbers went down and then up again.
DC:  Most of the three zero notes have been taken off the streets, and Iraqis as using the money on their cards.  Most people have government pensions and such, and those salaries are being paid in revalued currency, so they are happier and wealthier.  There have been donations on preloaded debit cards as well, and those have been distributed throughout the country.   The cards are paid out in the revalued dinars.  They are paid for out of oil/gas revenues, or the larger government accounts, while we are in this transition stage.
Tony:  As of Saturday, all that money – which has been due for years – has been caught up as of Saturday.  Everyone who was owed money from the government was caught up on Saturday.
Caller:  Are the new rates showing in other countries? Has there been announcement about a GCR on Thursday?
Tony:  Their banks can see them, just like our banks can see them, like regional banks.
DC:  There were announcements about a global reset or readjustment on the tickertape.
Tony:  There is supposed to be a public announcement sometime this month.
903 caller:  This is my very first time on this call.  I’ve been listening for a year, now.  How do we find out about the next lot of currencies, after this RV.
Tony:  I don't know.  I was going to set up the other site and tell you that, and my team told me not to do that!  People have asked me not to do it, and truthfully, I don’t know what my NDA will allow me to do.  It shouldn’t address that, but I don’t know what it will do.  We were setting up superfantastic as a group because that will require special qualifications.   They will never allow this large a group to revalue again.
Caller:  I have zim;  how will I know when to cash it in?
Tony:  There will be sites to take advantage of this opportunity.  I would get Pam to ask her brother or sister to start a site… I just don't know what I’ll be able to do because of the NDA.
Caller:  I am afraid of going to the bank;  I’ve never had this much money before in my life, and I’m afraid of being taken advantage of.
Tony:  Google money, do some research, go on the site.  We’ve been talking about this for three years.  The more knowledge you go in there with, the better you can negotiate.  Their goal is to get your money, as a business, and they will make as much as you let them make.  You need to take ownership of your life, and control your money and investments.  We’ll be there to help you as much as we can.  I don’t want anyone to be in that 80-90% that will be broke again in two years!
719 caller:  Glad to hear your mom is doing better!  We’ve been part of Gen64 before we knew about TNT.  I understand you don’t want to talk about them, but we’ve had no update from them.  Are you saying they are no more? Or that they cannot do what they committed to? I don't want to get an email from the group, go to the bank, and find it’s not legitimate.
DC:  I don't know.  I do know a lot of groups are going to be looked at in a harsh light.
Caller:  At what point do we say that is enough ENOUGH, we can’t hold back the rest of the world, and we have to let this go?
Tony:  CL is feeling the pressure, and she wants to make sure it doesn’t come back on her.  She has to make sure everything is being dealt with.  Things cropped up, some of them manufactured, but she is really close to the release.  We cannot do anything ourselves;  that part is not up to us.  It is affecting other things that are beyond us, so we are not going to destroy this or make them do something they don't want to do just to shut us up.  Only if something happens that makes it unfair to us will we take any action.  Everyone is happy in the morning, then during the day something come up… We wish they would just do it in the morning when everyone is giddy.  They have set a deadline, and I’m not going to say what it is.
DC:  Everybody is trying to make sure that NOW is the time.  But the goal posts have been moved, and they’ve dealt with those issues, and now everyone is trying to make sure it is right now.
Caller:  [More ****ing.]
Tony:  Everything that we hear isn’t for US to hear;  we just hear it.  It’s not directed to us, and often people don't even know we’ve been told things.  They wonder how we found out this and that.  It’s not all directed for us or to us.  Sometimes they ask us to say or do this, and we do because it makes sense.  We don't do it if it’s wrong or just to ease their pain when it’s not easing our pain. If getting the information out there is going to make the exchanges easier, then we’ll do it.
DC:  Very little of the information is directed towards us.  We didn’t matter for a long time, so we just put those pieces together ourselves.  We did the twitter campaign, and we became an issue.  There are times I’ve had conversations when we were having more impact or pushing more, and they would tell us to calm down and ask us not to tell you that some were making $32 because you probably never find out.  I said I wouldn’t do that.  Mainly we hear bits and pieces from all these different places, and we piece it together.
Caller:  I work for the government and many people start leaks when they get frustrated.  We want to heal the world and the US, and it would help to have things start to flow again. I do donate and we do appreciate you.
Tony:  There are 50,000 people on these calls, and only a couple hundred donate, so we do appreciate that.  Of course I hope it won’t last out to the end of the week;  it’s definitely scheduled and I hope we get it done.    We need to hang up the phone, the transcribers are tired!  I appreciate it’s hard work, especially if you have to go 80mph with DC.  It’s harder before and after the call for the team and the mods, because of the intel discussions.  Thank you all!
If we felt anything wrong or unjust were happening, we would tell you.  We’re right where we should be;  no reason to be upset. Let’s see what the day brings.  It could be a superfantastic day – If not today, before Saturday!

The State of Law bloc...led by Maliki is stating that Iraq needs emergency measures if the budget does not get passed....something that is looking like a strong possibility at this point....the Kurds still remain unsatisfied, the Coalition United bunch are not happy....together they can keep a quorum from forming....they need to pull up their big boy britches and get on with the show.
Washington: U.S. Special Forces soldiers train Iraqis in Jordan

US Special Forces are training Iraqis in Jordan on counter-terrorism tactics and how to effectively utilize weapons that are being sent to Iraq from the US...the Iraqi training will be completed at the end of March.
Kurdistan: our negotiations with Baghdad stopped at two proposals

According to the VP of the Kurdistan Region, two proposals were put before Baghdad and they await answers....both obviously involve oil issues, the first dealing with SOMO's involvement in Kurd oil dealings....the Kurds are seeking joint efforts on the subject.....and the second has to do with the DFI account and how money can be awarded directly to the region from the sale of their oil.

Parliamentary work: four million Iraqi efficiency out of the country

There are currently at least 4 million Iraqis living in other countries that have graduate level degrees.
Iraq coalition calls for the House of Representatives to pass a budget or support Maliki's decision

The Coalition of the Sons of Iraq are calling for a vote on the budget regardless of what the leaders of the blocs might be saying or what the Speaker of the House might be attempting to do to block things......either vote on the budget or support the actions of Maliki.....in other words...."put up or shut up"

Khalidi: - if Maliki keen on food for the people to send another budget to the House of Representatives

This kind of continued talk goes no where and gains no ground...you can't continue to keep whining and complaining about the past....look at what was given to you and make the necessary changes to it and move on.....this garbage of hiding from Parliament is nothing but shirking your political duty to the people....this is not Maliki's fault....the people should be outraged at the ineptness of the politicians they voted into office for not effectively performing their work.
U.S. equipment to Iraq billions of dollars did not help the army to defeat al-Qaeda in Iraq

It does no good to put sophisticated equipment in the arms of the untrained....but the deal with Iraq struck two years ago pretty well keeps the US out of any direct involvement in training Iraqi troops....so they have been left to their own devices...sad to say....the US foreign policy activities have proven lackluster at best...and Iraq is a prime example. Sure some troops are receiving training today...but that training is not enough and too late for the current situation in Anbar.
Maliki decide to release the salaries of the staff of the Kurdistan

Well the leaders of the PUK, led by Talabani, met with Maliki and agreed on needing to preserve the democratic foundations of the new Iraq....in this meeting Maliki apparently agreed to release salaries for the staff of the Kurdistan.....it was not indicated when the salaries would be released or if this would include the payments of January and February. A commitment has been made now we watch to see if the follow through is completed.
Alfalh: Maliki will go to the Federal Court to ask her about the possibility of disposal of the budget before approval

It would appear that Maliki is using some common sense in this latest effort of his.....to go before the Federal Court and seek disposition of funds from the 2014 budget that will aid Iraqi people as well as deal with security issues....it is very likely that the Parliament will remain deadlocked for the foreseeable future....Najafi is being shown as not standing in his role as Speaker of the House for all blocs....but has been speaking instead on behalf of the Coalition United which he leads....as well as defending the Kurds issues regarding oil issues.
MPs rule out approving the budget and reckon carried over to the next parliamentary session
News from the Kurd angle....there are still problems between Baghdad and the Kurds.....but there are also claims that the budget will be approved by the end of the Parliamentary session.....now does that mean before all the campaigning starts for the elections....or after the Parliament must reconvene after the elections for about a month....till around the middle of June....failure to approve the budget will lead to further economic duress and problems for all Iraqi people....as if they don't have enough problems.

Shahristani: we came up with solutions that have Kurdistan export oil through the SOMO

Well the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy has spoken again and claims to have solutions for the Kurds to export their oil and still use SOMO to do this.....it will remain to see how the Kurds react to this.....probably not well from past experience with them.....there is other info here but this is the key aspect of the article and of what is most important to the news.

Deputy Prime Minister will meet at UN headquarters in New York, Mr. John Ashe General Assembly President

Shaways is certainly knocking on many doors while he is in the US.....today at the UN to meet with Gen. Assembly Pres John Ashe, talking about ME international politics.....the Iraqi fight against terrorism, elections, democracy....the full gamut it sounds like.
Sistani's representative: Mr. emphasizes the change of government

A spokesperson for the highest religious authority in Iraq, al-Sistani, indicated that the emphasis needs to be on a change of government in the upcoming elections.
UN launches international appeal to save the displaced Anbar

The UN is committing to raising $103 million dollars for relief to the displaced families of Anbar.
IMF Executive Board Reviews Noncomplying Purchase by Iraq and Breach of Obligations Under Article VIII, Section 5
This article is all about an issue over what is called a performance criterion that was based back in 2011 where the CBI was found not to have divulged information to the IMF in an appropriate format....this sounds like today it is water under the bridge and everything has been righted.
Official: Iraqi banks are moving to expand their participation development

The President of the Association of Private Banks is stating that they are promoting their capabilities through the application of international standards (Basel) and working in cooperation with the CBI.....these Iraqi banks have been working feverishly to update their technologies, train their staffs, and make preparations....for what....a monetary reform....imo....they want to be prepared to ride the crest of what they know is coming.
Iraq spent on its citizens only 177 000 dinars per month

Iraq reports that it is spending 177,000 dinars per month per citizen on health services and education.....there are claims that 23% of the budget goes toward development and welfare aspects of the citizens....of the remainder of the budget (77%) 60% of that goes toward operating costs...while the remaining 40% goes towards investments.
Parliamentary Finance demanding Industrial Bank to provide facilities for investors

The Finance Committee is demanding that the Industrial Bank make facilities for investors and industrialists....again they are attempting to stabilize a sagging infrastructure and at the same time provide a mechanism for investors to get their foot in the door with regard to Iraqi projects as easily as possible.

Economist: environment, legislative and executive powers and corruption affect the completion of development projects

This is a hard to read document that appears to be making a bold statement that not only are there vast avenues of corruption from a political standpoint.....there is a lacking of leadership at the project level to make daily decisions on things that are critical to be completed.....a very poor way of conducting business....one that definitely needs change...quick change so that projects can move forward in a more fluid motion.
Planning: the economic growth rate during the next three years will amount to 16%

While the economic growth rate within Iraq for 2012/13 was 9%....the projections for 2014 are believed to be expected at 13% and for 2015-17 at 16%.....much of this growth will come from within the oil and gas sector.
Anbar provincial council: service ministries did not submit anything to Inbar They represent a major obstacle in the implementation of projects

Anbar recognizes that many projects are being delayed, often due to issues from Baghdad....they have submitted to the Federal Court to withdraw an appeal that was submitted and grant great control at the provincial level....Anbar believes that the service ministries are causing much delay in their projects and want to remove that control from the government in Baghdad....they are hoping for more money from the 2014 budget if it will get approved....my suggestion is to get your Coalition of United folks back to Parliament and push something thru inspite of the Kurds as was done last year.
Hamid Buffy: fears of the emergence of dictatorship in Iraq began to materialize

From a Kurd MP in Baghdad comes the fear of tyranny and dictatorship....they remember the difficult years under Saddam....but they also see an emergence of yet another dictator in the form of Maliki who works against them....the Kurds want what is good for Iraq and they believe they have much of the answer in the formation of their regional government....poverty, robberies, and corruption have all grown since 2003.....and throw in the street violence and things are seen in chaos.

That the supply of Iraqi oil to Jordan and Baghdad raise the discount rate to $ 20

Talk of oil being delivered to Jordan at a discounted price of $20/barrel an increase from $18/barrel.....also talk of agreements signed between Iraq and Jordan to build a pipeline from Basra to the Jordan port city of Aqaba that will flow one million barrels of oil a day....Iraq will also supply Jordan with 150,000 barrels of oil per day for generation of electrical power.
UN worried about the Status Law Jaafari confirm: will contribute to the fragmentation of the national identity of Iraq

UNAMI is concerned about the status of the Personal Status Law....calling upon the House of Representatives to look to some key international laws on the subject, especially as they impact women to ensure that Iraqis are treated equally.

Shaways looking McCain with bilateral relations between the two countries and development

Sounds like an amenable meeting with McCain, talking about the typical ME agenda, terrorism, poverty, humanitarian efforts, of course politics, and their upcoming elections.
Kurdistan: Maliki's coalition disrupts the legislation with 50 signatures in each session

It would appear that Maliki is using his own coalition State of Law to try and get the budget onto the Parliament agenda each time they meet in session, by providing enough signatures calling for an agenda change....it is difficult to pull from this article but they wait until the Kurds are in the Parliament chambers and then make it known about their signature request....when then causes the Kurds to leave the room....shaking my head...cat and mouse games.

Parliamentary Legal: talk about the personal life of the officials in the media crime punished by law

Basically an MP of the Legal Committee is reiterating that there are punishments under the law for talking about the personal life of public officials in the media....essentially defamation of character type offenses....then secondly there are some members of public officials who are interfering in public life for personal gain....corruption....that is also punishable.....punishing for corruption....now that must be a new thing for Iraq.
Minister of Commerce of Washington: our food companies with global mechanisms of entry into Iraq

The Minister of Trade is in the US with Shaways and has had meetings with US business giants looking forward to bringing their brand to Iraq as part of open market trade there.....the Iraqis are seeking this type of investment ventures from the US and welcome their participation in the Iraqi markets.

Muthanna: a project to attract qualified medical expatriate

The province of Muthanna is seeking to bring Iraqi medical expats back to Iraq to work within their province....they are meeting some difficulties due to age and salaries being earned outside of Iraq....but are making some headway, having found a professor of cardiac surgery that is willing to return.....hoping they find others.
Sheikh dagger: Maliki now leads a constitutional coup after betraying partners

This would appear to be somewhat of an editorial against Maliki....covering a number of areas where he is believed to be leading a constitutional coup within Iraq......he has betrayed many, he stands in disagreement with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, basically calling on MP's to boycott Parliament until the budget is placed on the agenda.....even getting his own State of Law Coalition to bring signatures to the Speaker when there is a quorum due to the Kurds showing up requesting that the budget be put on the agenda, which causes the Kurds to leave the room....he has arrested crucial MP's of Parliament....Maliki believes that certain MP's want the government to fail.

The former oil minister calls for careful handling "to nag" international oil companies and warns of a "push to pull"

Oil is king right now in Iraq....of that there is no doubt....for Iraq to be treating its foreign oil companies with disrespect and a bundle of red tape and corruption is unspeakable.....Iraq wants and expects to be at the top of the oil and gas heap in just a matter of years.....but to reach that pinnacle they must keep their eyes open and be forward thinking as to how they will successfully climb that mountain....playing games with the people that know how to extract and deliver their oil for them is not going to be getting them anywhere near the top.....when these foreign oil companies start to grumble, not about security, but about bureaucracy and corruption...Iraq had better stand up and listen....and find a way to fix the problem in a hurry or they will be left with nothing but pipe in the ground and nothing to show for it.
Whichever .. believe Iraq's second-largest country to produce and export oil? Or that he will announce his bankruptcy in 2017!!

This is one of those "fish or cut bait" articles.....Iraq will either see its way to being the second largest oil producer by 2017....or they will be facing bankruptcy by 2017....your call Iraq what will it be.....one thing for sure....you can't keep spending money that you don't have and expect to survive.

At long last....here is the morning News Summaries.....I thought they would never end.  Randy

Idplzr:  If they pull HCL out of the budget I don't think we will see an increase in the exchange rate. Every year they pass a budget. What makes this budget different is it's inclusion of HCL. By taking HCL out of the budget the will choose to stay status quo like every year. JMHO Rolling Eyes

Golfkdicke1023 » March 8th, 2014,

Delta has frequently said that past history shows that Iraq's rate changes have happened in the middle of the month. This should be very interesting week. Some are excited and some are nervous.

I am at peace just the idea of being debt free lifts the weight from my shoulders. Imagine being able to spend quality time with your loved ones without worrying about having to go back to a mundane job where the supervisors are miserable and wanna drag you down with them.

I hope everyone here enjoys a little because no one is promised tomorrow. There's been many who haven't made it to this point and gone home to glory. BLESS THEM AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

The IMF allowed the Aussie and Canadian dollar to be reserves in case it all goes out the window for the US. ? Long shot ?? Call me crazy lol

[BocaLinda] MotoXR why not? Seems to me anything is possible...

[mohawk] Jester, by any chance did you hear anything late this evening that would indicate a change from stagnation to moving forward? Best way I can ask it...

[Jester] mohawk NOT REALLY... WATCHING OUR FEARLESS LEADER MAKE MORE OF DING DONG OUT OF HIMSELF THAN USUAL.. THAT IS ABOUT IT...

[Jester] YEAH WELL.. THE SAD PART IS YOU REALIZE WE ARE JUST WASTING TIME WAITING ON HIM TO EITHER MESS UP BEYOND REPAIR OF FOR HIS TERM TO END SO WE CAN GET SOMEONE IN OFFICE THAT CARES ABOUT US...

[Jester] OK.. WELL I GUESS WE'LL HOOK UP AGAIN TOMORROW... NIGHT NIGHT EVERYONE...
